Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

If you've just started living a gluten free life, you might think that home baked goods are now off the list - but they don't have to be!

Although many companies are now selling pre-packaged gluten-free cookies, there's nothing better than sitting down to fresh-baked cookies.

We thought we'd start you off with one of our favorites - Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies. A delicious combo that smells out-of-this-world as it’s baking, it’s a recipe you’ll want to keep handy again and again.


  • 2/3 cup of gluten-free rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 cup of peanut butter
  • 2/3 cup of dark brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 2/3 cup of gluten-free chocolate chips


  1. Preheat the oven to 350.
  2. Mix the oats and baking soda together in one bowl.
  3. In another bowl, beat the peanut butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Mix your dry ingredients in and add the chocolate chips.
  5. Roll the cookies into two inch balls and place on cookie sheet. Flatten gently with your hand.
  6. Bake for 11 minutes or until brown.
  7. Cool on cookie sheet for two minutes, then move to a wire rack to cool fully.
